No one said they weren't acceptable. With those records he could have been here forever. At NC State or UMD not powerhouses by any means, they get stale and the programs want more. He is basically Tom O'brien, and I'd give my left nut for Tom O'brien or Randy Edsall results right now.

Yes at least he couldn't beat Temple, basically get shut out against Louisville and you can still gloat about defaulting into a Fiesta Bowl. There is that.
