Interesting article by Tyler Kepner, of the Times, about the Yankees' plans. They're passing on pitchers this year, possibly in anticipation of either Hamels or Cain being available next year.

Sox are acting the same way. I see they may have their sights on Paul Maholm...which in my opinion would be a great addition for the Sox at a very cheap price.

I would love for the Sox to sign him. It would be great to see how awful his numbers could be in the AL East.
