Great read. Thanks for sharing. I am really starting to love Evans, and can't wait for the season to start. I really think this team can put their middle fingers in the air in the direction of the NCAA.

Great article...after reading that im pumped for the season to start. I was just thinking, how great would that be if we won the Big East regular season? I know its probably a long shot but nobody thought we would ever win the national championship in 2011. With all the BS this program has faced with the APR and all of the haters saying UConn is on the decline, i think winning the BE this particular season would bring me just as much joy as reaching the final four in another season.

I was thinking the same thing about Evans.

I'm sure there'll be moments during the season where I'll be screaming his name in vain, but I do love him now.

We've got guys on our roster who want to be here.

And I agree with Evans: the goal is to win the regular season title. This season isn't meaningless. At the very least pride is at stake.
