It's the only thing I hate about the football season, it means summer is over. I can't wait for CFB and the NFL to come back but I remind myself that it means summer has come and gone. So it can remain a distant want for now.

Um this is wishing away the summer, season tickets locked in as soon as they came available. Patience is a virtue.
Our season will come just like winter, spring, summer and fall.
Lets not rush off our summer.

The basketball championships were somewhat anticlimatic in a way. You win tournament games and are all excited for the next opponent five times. Then you win the sixth and there is no more games to get excited about. You go through withdrawal.
