Really dumb question

Cincy is wearing dark (black) unis at home tonight. I thought home team wears white? Is that not the rule in college bball? Louisville is in white. I did not think the home team had choice like the NFL.

I think once a year, Cincinnati has a 'black out' night where the team and fans are supposed to wear black.

Tonight be that night - I'm sure they had to get some sort of approval for it.
