This is our time for preseason less-than serious topics.
Now since we know football rules, I propose that the Big East takes that, along with geography, into consideration. So my proposal for THE NEW BIG EAST:

Boston College
Conn
Penn State
Pittsburgh
Rutgers
Maryland
Temple
Kentucky
Louisville
Syracuse
Cincinnati
West Virginia

Think of the positives...
Icebear would love to have Penn State on our schedule.
We get to show Samarie the mistake she made.
Brenda has no exit.
That AD at B.C. is filled with dread.
We needn't face Skylar 4 times.
The preseason vote has us at #1
We lose no conference games.
And airplane time (think South Fl & Notre Dame) is reduced.

Is this a great new world or what?

Keep dreaming about Penn State. The only way UConn and PSU end up in the same conference is if the Big Ten extends CT an invitation. No school in their right mind would leave the Big Ten and the structure of revenue sharing there in both sports and research.

Rutgers (for a regional rivalry)

Stanford (gotta get an elite school)

i'm fairly certain we can get this done.
