It certainly relieves a lot of speculation on players leaving, so I'm glad Cam made the announcement he was staying. I'm sure there were a few offers out there for him.

Yeah, but you get my drift. It is totally ridiculous and facked up that a kid feels compelled to announce they aren’t leaving. Maybe we need an “I’m staying” thread.

And there needs to be significant sanctions for tampering if the kid has not given any indication of heading to the portal. . If he reached out, that’s maybe different. It is silly to call this a “system”.

every school tampers even if they wont admit it. I know a player at an fcs school that was contacted by a lower g5 school before his season was even over. Just look at how quick visits are set up after kids hit the portal.

That has been happening for years. We had a 2 star recruit around 2009 that switched to Ohio State and became a 4 star overnight!
