He's also a Cowboys and Bulls fan, in addition to the Yankees and, evidently, Kentucky. Let's see. Dude grows up in the 90's and becomes a fan of the 3-time Super Bowl champs, 6-time NBA champs, 4-time World Series champs, and 2-time NCAA champs. What a tool. As a Giants/Knicks/Red Sox/UConn fan, I'm not sure there's a more hated combination of teams.

You think maybe just for tomorrow he could set that aside and pull for the alma mater of the guy who won him his second ring?

C'mon dude... that's like saying John Paxson won MJ his 3rd ring. Stop it.

Well, John Paxson hit a shot in Game 6 in a series Chicago led 3-2.

Ray Allen hit a shot in Game 6 when his team was down 3-2. So if Paxson misses, the team goes to Game 7. If Allen misses, they go home.

So, I agree that Allen more or less won him that ring.

I'd go a step further and say Ray saved his legacy. If Lebron goes down in 2 out of 3 finals, he's not talking Mount Rushmore, is he?

If I'm not mistaken, after a couple of roommate changes - Ray and KO ended rooming together for most of their time at UCONN. My guess they ended up together is because Ollie is probably one of the few that could tolerate and comprehend Ray's OCD! Probably because he's got a big case of it himself. All maniacly successful people do.

UCONN - we are OCD about winning. Excited about the opportunity to earn another title tonight. I am.
Ray rooming with Travis was a disaster.

If kd goes...gotta be with lamb and Thabeet!
He better not show up alone especially with 3 Huskies on his team. I'd rather have the 3 Huskies than Durant.

KO was brought in by the Cav's to help Lebron when he was a rookie. LeBron has said in print several times that KO was the one person who made a HUGE difference in his career...taught him how to be a NBA basketball player. His tweets during the tourney have backed that up. He may be friends with the squid...but he and KO share something the squid can only dream about.

LeBron used to go to Indians games in a Yankees hat. He left the Cavs to play with Wade and Bosh on the Heat. The dude's the biggest frontrunner in the world; why wouldn't he be a UK fan?

Not a LeBron hater (at least not anymore). He's the best player of his generation and seems like a nice guy. But he's a big-time frontrunner.

Plus he's an ad for OBlundercare

CBS did a lousy job showing the NBA stars during the telecast

very lousy how many times did they have to show Clinton and Bush, then they show Jerry Jones, Romo and Witten multiple times. It wouldn't have hurt to have shown future HOF Ray Allen at least once or RIP.
