You bring up an interesting question and I would answer no. The Coaches poll is made up of only 32 coaches who get to cast actual votes. If you look at some of the names C. Vivian for example I would think is more concerned about her own team and conference during the season as opposed to figuring out who the Number 15-20 team is. I honestly think if you a coach with a vote you delegate this to someone on staff and you might glance at it to make sure it's OK.
