The discussion (in the New Poll Is Out thread) got me to thinking. Very often (e.g., ESPN Power Rankings for pro sports), rankings of teams are accompanied by up or down arrows to indicate their performance or ranking trend.
Publications like Time Magazine do something similar, as do prognosticators before NBA or NFL drafts.
So now, if we did this for wcbb, ND and USC would get "up" arrows, Duke (among many others) "down" ones. Similarly, McCallie and Warlick tould get "down" arrows and Staley and Berube (!) would get "ups."
McBride and Loyd, up. Hartley, up. Sims, down. E Williams, down. And so on.
(No need to mention a big downer for Peyton Manning, but that's fb, not wcbb.)
Your thoughts and opinions are welcome.
