Tenn is #25 at 14-9. That is a joke.

I looked at the teams below them and not one team deserved to be in the top 25. But Tennessee should be out of the poll just for being a putrid team.

I didn't expect Tennessee to drop from top 25 and I have to wonder if they will remain in the coaches poll.

They will get votes on 'name' only from the AP voters. Coaches may see things differently.

Anyone else notice the comment @ the bottom. LOL If you missed it... I copied and pasted it below.

Fun fact:

Top 35 RPI wins by mid-major #9 seed Duquesne: 3.

Top 35 RPI wins by the ACC's #3 seed Florida State, #6 Miami, #6 Syracuse, #10 NC State and #10 Duke *COMBINED*: 0."

USF still ranked despite loss to Temple but no love yet for the Owls in the poll - not a single vote.

Very hard to vote for Temple given its losses to unranked Rutgers, Qunnipiac, St Joes, SMU, and Penn.

There should be a threshold of votes necessary to be ranked. If the unanimous No 1 team gets 800 votes then is it too much to require that a team get 10% or 80 points? This week there should have only been 24 ranked teams.

Yes, I agree, and combine that with the fact that Tennessee's loss was in overtime to
a higher ranked team, so that it's perhaps not unreasonable that the LVs are still ranked.
