I found it. But another bizarre anomaly is Ohio State with a 322 SOS rank despite having played Tennessee, Boston College, Louisville, and Rutgers. In fact the only team they have played with a worse SOS is McNeese State at 338. And Massey has tOSU at #17 SOS to date. 322 compared to 17? Somebody is just throwing numbers in a hat.
I haven't looked into this the slightest, so take this with a grain of salt, but I bet if you investigate the differences in SOS ranking systems you find that one heavily favors W/L ratios and the other favors ranking at the time of competition. I made this assumption because both Tennessee and Louisville were top 25 teams when they played Ohio State and have since dropped out due to loss after loss.

Interesting. What is the difference between Massey and RPI’s SOS calculations? Massey has the Big 10’s SOS as stronger than the PAC, but the PAC’s SOS not as weak as RPI’s numbers.

RPI has Ohio State’s SOS as 267, while Massey has it as 17.

Arizona’s SOS will be better after they play Kansas and Baylor. Stanford plays Massey 41 Tennessee and 18 Creighton next.

Arizona is getting embarrassed. Shout out to u
Kansas has a very solid squad IMO but yeah this is a bit embarrassing for AZ at home to be down 20+ points going into the 4th.

Well on that note, big 12 should watch out for Kansas this year. No one in the Big 12 looks superior to me or just flat out ahead of the rest of the pack

Shout out to Kara Lawson

I tried to tell them a few times, but yall didn't want to listen to me

TAMU is a middling SEC team, but that Toledo victory will look better at the end of the season. They went 29-6 last year.. and made it to the Final 8 of the WNIT last season defeating Marquette along the way. The Rockets returned all of their starters and are favorites to win the MAC. They are no cupcake.

Hey @triaddukefan , is kicking schools out of their conference strictly your domain, or can I do it too? A certain school in Tucson is letting me down right about now.

They have done so much for your conference though... at least in the past few years.

It is embarrassing. Kansas is up 32 with two minutes left. Hope Arizona does better against Baylor.

Kansas wins 77 to 50. Why aren’t they ranked?

Kansas is very solid but AZ still has no business getting beat this bad at home.

Weren't you going to give Louisville the heave ho? They have a much longer history of performing well than Arizona does.

It's got to be the fact they're in the ACC. Any other conference, I can see @triaddukefan being a lot more accommodating.

Well, that school actually rose a few spots in the RPI rankings last night by losing. Their SOS in the RPI jumped from 292 to 226.

When will LSU play somebody?

I have compiled teams and conferences (top 7 Conf only) RPI, SOS and NET into a spreadsheet. Note: all data with the exception of the NET rankings were copied and pasted into the spreadsheet and sorted primarily by Conferences and RPI. Data results cover games through yesterday, 12-10-2022. Conferences RPI, SOS and NET rankings are averages of the teams in each conference.

My observation(s), looking at the conferences RPI, SOS and NET results (top right table) I also have to shake my head as some also have mentioned, the PAC-12's SOS with 190 Avg is 6th, barely beat out the AAC for 7th place (192). To me it seems as if this SOS ranking is not part of the NET metrics. The PAC-12 is first in Conf NET with an average conf ranking of 47...although the ACC is second with an average conf NET ranking of 48.

You have SCar with a 9-1 record. They are 8-0. Are you predicting a loss to Liberty or Sdakota St this week?;)

Odd, as I mentioned I copied and pasted from RealTime.com...heading there does say 2022-2023. Hope I didn't really screw up. Here's the link...and looking at it again, South Carolina is not the only one with incorrect data, as another example UConn at 10-1...I may have to scrap the spreadsheet. Thanks for letting me know about this...it may be too late to go back to my post and delete it.

Was able to at least add an EDIT and link to my previous post.

RealtimeRPI has Stanford at 12 and 1, when they are 10 and 1. They list Stanford as having played both UC Davis and Gonzaga on 12/4.

Sorry to the ones that have already seen my initial post with spreadsheet. I went back to my post and was able to delete it. Sorry for the screw up. :(

Thank you for taking time to compile the data. I think this just shows Net and Massey are more reliable than RPI, though Massey shows Stanford playing Arizona twice, in Tucson on 1/2 and 1/3, which likely is affecting their projected SOS.
