I agree with the assessment. If he makes more of his mid-range jumpers / floaters / layups and becomes more efficient beyond the arc- Hamilton will lead the team in scoring IMO.

Jamal Murray is #1 on this list. I know he'll be playing the 3 at UK but he is by no means a small forward.

I know I have to get used to this, but damn, ranking untested freshman as the top two is so insulting to the other 'vets'.

I just wish they would rank freshman separately, but that ain't happening.

Well, we know that all the freshmen in the country aren't worse than all the sophomores just by virtue of being one year younger, so they are ranked based on the information they do have. Typically these highly regarded "untested" freshmen have international basketball experience if high school isn't enough for you.

I would agree with you if a lot of recent freshmen had not become immediate stars like they have. Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor, D'Angelo Russell, Karl Towns, Joel Embiid, etc. all burst onto the scene and we're ranked accordingly in preseason "fluff". It's annoying, but I get it.
