Gentlemen, I'm seeing some real good things in our future. Some real good things...
 
Pitt recruiting classes plus Rutgers recruiting classes = flawed ranking system.

Perception to recruits on how good of a class they are joining = priceless.
 
Husky, would you rather have 10 two star recruits or 10 four star recruits? It does matter, we need to win battles against top programs, it shows that kids want to come here, to get a good degree and a shot to play on sundays. If you want to live on winning under the radar types, some of those kids may not pan out over time.

I want quality players. Not players assigned an arbitrary star ranking. It doesn't matter to me what their star ranking is coming in, it matters what their ranking is leaving UCONN.

If we offer a kid, then he's a quality player. We've offered a lot of 4 star kids. Sometimes you have to settle for the next best guy, that's when coaching takes over.
