As in 2002-2011. My list goes something like this.

1. UNC
2. Uconn
3. Dook
4. Kansas
5. Michigan State
6. Florida
7. Kentucky
8. Syracuse
9. Arizona
10. Pittsburgh
11. Maryland
12. UCLA
13. Ohio State
14. Texas
15. Louisville/Butler/West Virginia/Memphis/Villanova/Georgetown/Illinois? You decide.

If Uconn goes to the ACC it would have my top 3 and 6 of the top 11 in one conference. Crazy.

It's crazy how Texas has only one final four the last 50 years, considering how much talent they've brought in the last decade.

And I agree with your Top 5, although one can argue UConn at #1 because we're the only school with 3 Championships in the span. Maybe the fact we've missed the tourney a few times in the last 15 years times prob. hurts us.

We only got 2 NCs in that span. 3 FF though.

After looking at your ratings, here's an interesting conference analysis:

New ACC: 5 teams
Remaining BE: 5 teams
Big 10: 3 teams
SEC: 2 teams
Big 12: 2 teams
PAC 12: 2 teams
Other: 2 teams

Conclusion: Remaining BE is still a strong ball conference and the Big 10 could use another ball power.

Ya well UNC has missed it at least twice too in that timespan I. But they've probably had more wins and more 1 seeds than us in that time span and the same amount of FF's/championships. Not sure how many Elite 8's they've made but we've made it to 5 in that time period so that could be an argument for us.

Also, if Uconn goes to the ACC, that will mean ACC teams will have won 9 of the last 13 NCs.

I say Florida should be #3. They may not have the consistancy but you can't discount that one great team who won back to back titles. Florida and Dook have been to the same amount of final fours and elite eights in that time frame as well if I am remembering correctly.

Florida has been to one more (elite 8)- they have the two championships. Duke has the championship and 1FF. But Duke went to 6 Sweet 16s in that 10 year period, while UF went to the NIT 2x and didn't get past the 1st weekend 5 times!

I would take Duke over Florida, although I can see the argument for UF with that additional championship.

And you really can't put UK over Duke, UF, MSU (maybe even some more).
