I'd switch Adams and Miller. I think his size, bodying up and rebounding prowess will be a huge weight off of Brimah and Hamilton's shoulders. No knock on Adams, I just like to go into the season with low freshmen expectations and hope to be pleasantly surprised. I'd also switch Omar and Cassell......I'm stillllll riding that Omar Coming bus. Otherwise nicely done.

Yeah I really contemplated the same, but both are good defenders, Adams would pick up slack if Purvis doesn't play well, and were traditionally guard based.

That being said, Miller's toughness and rebounding is a huge need for this team. You can easily make a case for him.

Cool idea. I'm listing based off my perceived value. For example who I think would be the most valuable players which may be a little different from who are our best players.

2) Hamilton
3) Brimah
4) Purvis
5) Miller
6) Adams
7) Facey
8) Omar
9) Enoch
10) Nolan

Dicky V's comment last March that we badly needed an injection of talent is made evident by these rankings. 3 new faces in the top 5.

I think it all starts with Nolan. Then Gibbs, Hamilton, Purvis and Brimah. How many charges Nolan draws is how far we go.

Hopefully the final game will be a charge-off between Duke and Nolan. He can do it!!!

I love having an underclassman wing player with so much potential and hype as evidenced by him being #1 on basically every list thus far. The hype for him this season reminds me of Caron and Rudy.

This kid is so supremely talented and plays with a natural's touch. We are very lucky to have this kid wearing our colors.

Take a second to think about the individual accolades our players rcv'd last year...

Hamilton: Rookie of the year and all AAC honorable mention
Brimah: Defensive POY and all AAC honorable mention
Gibbs: Big East second team (IMO should have been first over Dunham/Arcidiacono but SH collapsed)
Miller: First team all Ivy

This doesn't even include RP who finished the season playing fantastic ball, Adams who is a stud 4/5* recruit and a very solid cast of roll players. So much to be excited about this year. Season can't start soon enough.

1. Gibbs
2.Hamilton
3. Brimah
4. Purvis
5. Miller
6. Adams
7. Facey
8. Calhoun
9. Cassell
10.Enoch
11. Nolan

Kind of surprised seeing Hamilton appearing number 1 on a lot of lists. Love his game but Gibbs should be the best and most polished player and I think Rodney continues on the path he ended last season on.

1 - Gibbs
2- Purvis
3 - Hamilton
4 - Brimah
5 - Miller
6 - Adams
7 - Facey
8 - Omar
9 - Nolan
10 - Enoch
11 - Cassell

We win the championship if we have 2 players better than Hamilton next year.

Brimah is clearly the most valuable player on the team. without him there is no rim protection, and KO would be forced to play NOLAN major minutes... sounds disastrous. Gibbs goes down, adams replaces him; hamilton goes down, calhoun replaces him... both of those situations are not ideal but much better than playing nolan 20+ mpg.

Uh, were screwed if Calhoun has to play Hamilton min. Plus who backs up Calhoun? At least if Brimah goes down, we have Nolan and Enoch who can play center. We have no depth at wing.

I think you have the right idea with the ranking. The top 6 can go just about any way you want as long as hamilton is at the top. The problem is the same can be said about the bottom 5 (being any order).

Our top 6 is solid, and matches up well with just about any team, but I don't think we're as deep as some people here believe. We certainly have the potential to be a deep squad, but 7-11 are all big question marks. The talent is there for all those guys, but we've only seen it sporadically. That will need to change for this team to go far...or I guess they can all just take turns playing well enough to fill out the bench spots

I am going to go in a completely different direction with Rodney as #1. He is the heart and soul of the team, and really needs to perform at the level we saw at the end of the season. Purvis sets the tone this year. Gibbs is clearly important as the guy who creates team chemistry and distribution.

We live and die with our PG's and guard play in general. Brimah is the defensive protector and needs to limit the early fouls.

1. Purvis
2. Gibbs
3. Brimah
4. DHam
5. Adams
6. Miller
7. Facey
8. Nolan
9. Cassell
10. Calhoun
11. Enoch
