This board would be losing their minds if DHam, had a list of 10 and we had a chance to get him. What an unbelievable pickup early, for KO.

The prognosticators with the crystal balls are cool, until you realize they keep changing their minds weekly. Make a pick and stick to it. Don't change your pick in the 3rd quarter when your teams down by 4 touchdowns.

The jury's still out on a half dozen players but I can't think of many good coaches, that could boast a decade plus experience in the NBA life and is still young enough to play you one on one. Which pg is going to come to his senses first?

It would be great to add more pieces to Purvis & Hamilton. It looks like we have about 6 primary targets left. Lets grab two. Please, please let's catch a break on Facey. He's long and oozes talent, don't let the NCAA butcher this kids college opportunity.

That is all.

I'll add that any negative recruiting about UConn's exposure and conference is easily countered. The schedule came out this week and showed no one is getting more exposure than UConn, while conference teams like Memphis, SMU and Houston are reeling in recruits. If Cincy and Temple continue doing what they do, the conference is going to have 6 teams with top talent.

I actually think the AAC is stronger than pre-CR ACC.

I think that's the whole point of having that crystal ball feature. As they get new information they change their prediction. So that just before the recruit chooses a school that's the most updated information they have to make a prediction. It's like predicting the teams that make the NCAA Tournament. People try to do it before the season starts but the most accurate and useful predictions are the ones made just before Selection Sunday. The ones in the preseason mean nothing and are very inaccurate.

I hope the Facey situation is treated with some objectivity & fairness.

I'm not! I'm hoping the NCAA feels they treated UConn bad enough in the past and will be more lenient than usual on this issue. Otherwise if they are fair Facey only gets two years and can't play this season. I'm hoping for three years and can play this season.

I'm not an expert on the topic, but based on the facts Fleud, are you feeling there's no way to avoid some penalty for Facey?

What happened to the great random observations like "you know who gets it -- The Golf Channel. Watching Natalie Gulbis go to Home Depot, make a stop at grocery store. That is quality programming."

Somebody posted an article that went into detail how kids from the British system are unfairly punished by the NCAA and discussed the type of penalties kids like Kentan face in similar situations. I'm hoping for the 4 yrs. obviously but 3 years and immediate playing time would be a win for UConn.
