Who are some of the most random programs to hold the #1 spot in the country in the 2000's?
Not a question of if the team was deserving or not. Clearly they were good enough.

Doesn't matter when in the year or for how long.

The more I use AI the more I see that it is not always right. This one also where it was a pretty easy question and AI screwed it up.

Also, this list, although helpful gives no context. It makes it seem as if wake forest were on equal footing with all the rest when in fact wake bball hasn't even been an afterthought for 95% of the century.
 
I weirdly remember Alabama being No. 1 early in the 04 season. If not for their recent resurgence they would be a good answer

St. Joe's(PA) is the clear front runner for some random team ranked #1 in this time frame. /thread
