he will play definitely more then 10
I'd be shocked if either Facey or Lubin was anything but a 10-12 minute a game player - maybe less so with Facey.

He's had a year in the program while Lubin definitely needs some time. Conditioning will be a bit of an issue there - the kid is strong, but he's not ready to run UConn-style. (He's also going to find himself stuffed around the rim until he sorts things out.)

Hey 3, got a question. Does KO specifically recruit devout players? If so, it seems like quite a model for getting players with good character
I would tend to think not, but that doesn't mean that Ollie's faith won't attract recruits of a similar faith.

Can you please tell us how tall he really is? Nobody here knows for sure
She told me 6'8" when he committed. However, people who I've talked to that have been at his games say he's not. They say 6'7".

he is 6'8 and weighed in today at 268 and that's solid

thanks for the update. There's been a lot of posts by "experts" on here who can tell from a video that there's no way he's 6'8" and definitely 6'6" or 6'7" and therefore will never be more than a role player.

I'm very optimistic he will work hard and be a beast. He's obviously a genetic freak (in a good way) to fill out his frame with muscle at such a young age. It will be fun to watch him make an impact as a freshman.

If there is one freshman who surprises us by making more impact than expected, I hope it's Rock. We haven't had a guy of that dimension in some time - an intimidating bruiser who's hard to move, eats rebounds, and gives us a different look just by checking in. If nothing else, even his fouls should be fun to watch. Judging from those pictures it looks like you stay fouled for a while, probably with little birds and stars circling your head.

The high school to college transition is a tough one. Some very talented players take a while to get acclimated and some unheralded players figure it out quickly. Defense and conditioning is the name of the game for young post players. Hopefully he can give us some sort of presence off the bench immediately but it's certainly not a knock on his future if it takes more time. Whether it's immediate or takes a little longer, I have a feeling Lubin is going to become a fan favorite in Storrs.

As a freshmen he just has to be aggressive and make his fouls count.
