The Red Sox have a young third baseman who was just promoted to the Gulf Coast League from the Dominican Summer League. He hit .337 in the Dominican League and in his first two games in the Gulf Coast League he is 6 for 8 with two double and a triple. The scouts are saying that he is a five-star player with tons of upside and.... he won't turn 18 until the end of October.

I guess this shows you how desperate I am for good news. I am following the Gulf Coast rookie league.

I wonder if any 17 year-old has ever been rated that high?
