Great first test. Fans really showed out.

When shifted to 2-3 ZONE messed with offense/stalled.

Need to make the adjustment, focus on moving the ball around and get it in the middle. Easier said than done. (grin)

Transition/Adjusting? Big pressure at Princeton, different role now.

Spectacular to play with such talented players as KK Paige. etc. Firding my role.

NC made a push. You all huddled and came out with 4 quick points. What happened in that huddle.

Reminded to lock in on defense. That's where our transition offense is.

Are you all better defensively than you thought you'd be?

I wasn't sure what I was expecting.

What's it like playing on the road, in an arena like this (like playing at home w/fan energy)

Honestly, this is pretty fun.

Best piece advice from Carla before you came to UConn?

Just be me. Trust myself, what I have. Be confident in myself.

We're the same team that went up 20+ and then had the lull.

Don't know what happened first: missed shots /eased up on defense.

But the toughness of this team.

ICE played great. Hustle plays were key.

Morgan - only played a few minutes, but made hustle plays made a difference.

We need to remind ourselves this is only the 3rd game. As coaches, we need more patience (Geno, not me) We see their potential, all the good things we can do. We want the to hurry up and get there, and/but not get caught up in the mistakes.

It was a great win.

ZONE Challenge.

We stopped scoring, then stopped defending. UNC Navarre had a great game. But think, we did a really great job to hold down their two leading scorers.

We haven't seen a lot of zone.

Paige solid. Sarah impressed

Sarah: She's sneaky. Great feet and hands. Sneaky athletic. 5 on their team, big and has moves. Sarah doesn't have that look about her, but great feel for the game.

Mid fourth - drought.

Second half - jana. Key moment ti score. Fouls - Unfortunate calls, didn't think they were all fouls. Her put back, good play.

Paige passed up some shots she should have taken. bit when she wasn't in the game we scored. We want us playing WITH her and she was scoring... Other times we were watching and she STILL was scoring.

Need to be part of it... Set the screen. We're running stuff, that's flow of offense not panic of shot clock run down, give it to Paige.

We have the best player in the country, the most unselfish and the most efficient (I never tell her that. No one can tell her I said that)

North Carolina: Good memories- Start of 14 FF in a row.

Our trip to NC didn't go well last year. That was on our mind. Wanted to play well, and we did for the most part.

Heard there were fight in the stands? I love that. (as long not involved.)

Go to a hockey game.
I do. I love it. I have aggressive tendencies. Hockey you hit and don't get into trouble. (laughs)

That was the best reply of the entire game. Just showing how Paige can control the floor and knowing that it would be easier to shoot over Morgans player than Sarahs. Quick reaction by the two freshmen, so good to see. We all know that Sarah will be invaluable this season, and I believe Morgan will also be a key player. Love these freshmen, as I did last year.

That’s really the thing. Until Azzi and Aubrey come back, aside from Bueckers and Chen this is a really young group. Sophs in just their first few games this year and several freshmen. Pretty impressive relatively easy win.
