Ironic story with this kid: he had us and UMd in his final two and chose the Terps, only to end up with FUCRE anyway. Big surprise, he's now transferring - he's a 3-year starter at ROT with one more year of eligibility.

Does anybody know if he falls into the immediate-eligibility category? It would be nice if he could give UConn another look; the team could use him...

Not if he has one year left... At OT, it'd make more sense for him to go to a Delaware or JMU or Villanova or Towson so he could come in and play right away...

only if he graduated from UMd.

Perhaps we should open a new forum - dedicated to news of every kid on UMd roster who is or is thinking about leaving

I am guessing he has graduated and can do the transfer without sitting out a year like Wilson did at Wisconsin.

But you have to enter a field of study not offered by the school you are leaving.

"Dill, who has one year of eligibility remaining, finished the season with the most career starts (33) and most consecutive starts (30) of any current Maryland player. Dill could enroll in a graduate program not offered at Maryland and play at a major school next season."

My guess is that he will likely end up at Vandy where James Franklin is running an offense which Dill is familiar. Vandy is always in need of decent offensive linemen and the SEC would be a jump in competition for Dill to see if he is NFL caliber.
