Quick RPI Question (Georgetown)

So Georgetown is currently around 102-103 in the RPI. However, they play Nova today. I would like it if Georgetowns RPI climbed into the top 100, but I do not really know how RPI works. If Georgetown loses to Nova, could their RPI still go up just because they played a good team? I honestly don't know if that's how it works.

Probably not enough to be Top 100. It will negate the loss, but not make them jump up.

Yeah, when you play a team with a record as good as Nova and your RPI is already low, it probably can go up even with a loss, but who knows how much at this point in the season.

They won't get into 100 with a L, according to RPI Wizard. A W gets them to 92.

Alright thanks guys. Guess we need a win today then out of them. Don't want them winning the Big East tournament though, they would be a potential bid stealer.
