They have not fared well against good teams.

They really miss McNutt from 2011. Sugar is a volume shooter. I think we can slow her and stop the others. This may be a good learning experience for Brianna Banks.

IMO nothing but good will come from Banks getting lots of minutes.

I wonder if Georgetown will play a physical game. I also wonder where Stewart will be spending the majority of her time. I think Auriemma's concerns about offensive rebounds might be answered if he would play Dolson where she is in the same zip code as the backboard.

I totally agree about Banks. Hope she's not on too short a leash. She needs the minutes to boost her confidence. The upside for her is HUGE! Don't you think everyone will play us as "physical" as possible? We've proven ourselves to be vulnerable to disruption of our offense when that happens.

From the stats listed above, it sounds as though GT does play a physical game with tough defense. Teams are shooting only 37% against them. In the four games where we encountered tough physical defense (Maryland, Penn St, Stanford and ND,) we shot 38.3% , 41.1% ; 37.5% and 39.4%. We won the 3 games we won because of our Defense. Our 3 point shooting has also been way off in those four games. How about 5-15 ; 5-19 ; 6-24 ; and 5-23.

ummm, I believe from what I have read, that Geno's concerns with offensive rebounding is that UCONN is giving up too many offensive rebounds (at least that's what people have been complaining about). Having watched all the games, I don't recall UCONN giving up a single offensive rebound to the opposition when we are on offense. So I don't think Dolson's offensive positioning is going to have much of an affect our ability to diminish the opponents offensive rebounding. JMO.
