Hi All,

As you know I have started an AAC Basketball Blog and I was able to land an interview with Joe Lunardi to talk about the AAC and bracketology.

I wanted to reach out to you guys and see if you have any questions you'd like to ask him. They can be UConn or conference related.

Thanks!

UConn just lost a 1 point heartbreaker to Texas on a last second shot. What impact does that have on post season seeding?

Or more broadly:

What is the impact of playing lower ranked in conference opponents have on Connecticut's tournament seeding?

UConn was underseeded by your estimation last year and you are on record that SMU should have been a tourney team. Memphis and Cincinnati were placed in the same four team pod despite only 4 teams from the AAC making the tourney. It would appear that last years committee inappropriately penalized the American given the deep runs by both UConn and SMU in their respective post season tourneys. Was there a power conference bias on Selection Sunday last year and/or throughout your many years as a bracketologist?

If St. Joes is 9 - 20 this year will you project them as an 8 seed or a 9 seed?

Not a question for him but in the REALLY early bracketology from Lunardi he has Uconn rated #21 on the S curve which would put them at a 6 seed. No other teams from the AAC in. VCU is the only A 10 team in his ratings

i just looked at our conference schedule.
breaking news - all the games suck

when does this nightmare end and we get to play in a real conference?
ask him that, please.

Do your bracket projections have any impact with the selection committee?

This went over about as well as the Eric Decker "Why do you love the JETS" twitter fiasco.

Does everyone at ESPN hate UConn, or just the people who end up on TV or on the internet?

When will the NCAA take away the AAC's auto-bid and give it to the ACC?
They won't take it away. The ACC is actually planning on giving it an invite, it was their 2nd choice after Rutgers turned them down.
