How Duke is still ranked in the top 25 is beyond me. They haven’t looked good at any point this season. I’m not saying we deserve to be ranked in the top 25 since we have had covid issues but at least put St Louis or Xavier over them.

Sagarin has Uconn -46th and Duke -47th.

Duke does have two losses...to #4 and #13.

But their freshmen are not looking that good on the court. The first season dookies are not plaing well...for the first time in a long time, there are no sensations....

The 2020 class, for Duke, was not like past classes....for the first time since 2012-13, Coach K did not recruit a top 10 player (from 247 composite)....But in 2012-13 he had experienced seniors like Mason Plumlee, Seth Curry, and Ryan Kelly.

But K did bring in four 5 stars...and they need to play like they are...

If freshman play does not improve, a long season for K.

The CFB committee rankings 5-10 are a complete joke too. It’s all about the money and controlling who shows up. At least the AP has some semblance of independence and 65 voices that get it mostly right even if there is some hometown cooking.

A lot of home town cooking...and the Coaches has built in bias as well....mostly, I think that the CFP gets it right.

Picking the best four of ten possible contenders will always have some one questioning a choice (A'la UCF...who ultimately did not hold serve in their bowl against a P5).
