Question re: Istanbul Game

Please excuse me if this has been asked - has anyone heard if ESPN (or anyone) will be televising the game from Istanbul this weekend? Really enjoyed seeing the Brazil and GB games - a bonus since I didn't think either of them would make the TV...

Unfortunately, it does not look like it is. Once the men's and women's teams split, ESPN did not seem keen on investing in two prduction/announcing crews in two different locations.

I have DirecTV. I looked online at the program schedule for Saturday, July 21, at 11 a.m. (my understanding ot time of game EST) and found nothing on any of the several ESPN channels.

I would like to be corrected or mistaken but the only thing I now have planned for Saturday morning is my usual listening to "Car Talk" on PBS at 10.

I just went to the ESPN website to see if any of the other pre-Olympic games would be televised and couldn't even find the TV schedule. Aargh! So I came here. Figured the Boneyarders would either know or figure it out.

Those commentators were horrid. I can see confusing players if they are BOTH in the game. They obviously do no follow women's basketball very closely.

But I can still say I don't miss Doris Burke, who tries to make everything she says sound like the most important comment ever. She used the phrase "lift" about 15 times in the Final Four broadcasts. It was as if it was the word of the day that she had to use "x" number of times.
