Jeremy put up a shot that bounced around the rim a few times. From where I was way up in section 201 it looked like it then went in. However, Olander was credited with the basket, presumably on a tip in. Can anyone who watched on TV clarify this? No big deal, but I am curious.

I was in the student section. I thought TO pulled away at the last second, but then again it was on the other side of the court.

I thought TO pulled away at the last second but the PA guy said TO scored.

IMO if TO did tip it in there is no way it wasn't basket interference, so I assume the PA guy was mistaken.

I thought the ball was on the cylinder and i thought that TO did tip it in on his way down.

When I saw no one on SHU complain about interference i second guessed myself.

I did not go back and look, but I did not see Tyler touch the ball when it happened. I thought he pulled back. But the announcers immediately credited Tyler. I was surprised and given their other errors today, i figured they just made a mistake. That basket would have given Jeremy 17 points. A possession or two later, they said Jeremy had 17, so I figured he ended up getting credit for the hoop, but they never confirmed it. I guess this does not clear it up fully and I should have gone back and looked again. Maybe someone has a written account of the game that would clear it up.

I didn't think that Tyler touched it, but I'm pretty sure he was credited with the basket.

Tyler was 2-3 on the game.

His second basket came in this sequence....

02:41 SUB OUT: GERAMIPOOR, Aaron
MISSED LAYUP by Lamb, Jeremy 02:24
REBOUND (OFF) by Olander, Tyler 02:24
GOOD! TIP-IN by Olander, Tyler [PNT] 02:20 64-39 H 25

I think this is correct. Rewatched a few times. Still think it was a JL bucket with the PA guys that were incorrect.

Tyler didn't touch it. The TV announcer said he tipped it in, but he was wrong. What a surprise.

I guess we all saw it the same way. They gave TO the basket though.

I just rewatched a couple times, and Tyler took a sort of swing at it, without hitting it, and his hand was already well below the rim when it bounced through.
