The announcers keep saying that if Rutgers and Louisville both lose, their game next week is for the BCS berth.

But since Syracuse beat Louisville, doesn't that mean that if we win today then UL are out of it.

If UL loses and if Rutgers wins, they own it.

If UL loses and Rutgers loses, any 5/2 tiebreaker goes to Syracuse over UL.

Then UL v RU is about who wins, Syracuse or Rutgers.

Cincinnati could be 5-2 as well. Make it a mini-conference.

Don't think it matters though if Cinci is 5-2. Cinci and Syracuse would be 1-2. Rutgers and Louisville 2-1. So whoever wins the RU/Ville game would win.

Rutgers because 6-1. Louisville on the tiebreakers.

If we somehow pull out today's game (this staff has me cynical beyond description) our game next Saturday could have huge implications (it is an entirely different tie-breaker without Cincy included than it is with them).

Who wins if Cinci isn't 5-2? They are all 1-1.

If the two clowns who have yet to win two in a row here can somehow find their way to a three game winning streak, it will not only save their jobs (which may be already safe), it will also send us to the Pinstripe Bowl.

Naahhhh. The Pinstripe with the 4th choice will prefer "NY's College Team"...
