I know this may be a stupid question but, Uconn is ineligible for the NCAA tourney. Does this mean that they are also ineligible for the NIT?
 
The NIT is owned by the NCAA. They would be huge hypocrites if they used UConn's brand to sell tickets to an event the no one cares about. So, I guess it's possible.

Seriously though, I think it's a full postseason ban. If not by rule, then for political reasons.
