No…. I don’t know if UConn is taking any. My question is, if there are any, when is the last east they can be announced? Once the second semester begins? I’m only asking because many think with all the injuries they should recruit one or two

The Huskies can’t recruit walk ons but they can hold open tryouts. Transfers need to go the whole route as usual with paperwork, etc.

I’m leery of messing up the excellent chemistry that the team currently has at this point and can’t imagine how much a new player would need to learn to play even a few minutes.

Won’t get an argument from me. Many here were looking for players to come in mid-season

I agree with your point that I bolded. However, in the normal recruiting cycle, walk ons can be recruited. Autumn Chaisson is the first example who comes to mind.
