Question about viewing

Ugh, I was looking for the TV coverage for Battle 4 Atlantis last night and couldn't find it. I really don't like FloSports coverage.

I believe that the first two rounds are on FloSports. The championship game appears to still be in the TBD category. Which could mean that ESPN or someone else is negotiating to televise it instead of FloSports.

I usually pay the $30 and figure it's $10/game. Besides 2 UConn games a likely SCar-Oregon game should be good. FloSports also has some other holiday tournaments.

My guess - because WCBB is becoming more profitable. We used to get all the games for "free" on CPTV, except for nationally televised games. Now, if you have access to SNY, it's the same - you can get pretty much all the games not on CBS sports, ESPN, or Fox (i know they have the BE contract for the men, but i'm guessing not the women?). It's possible that a game away against a team like SC, Stanford, or tOSU might only be available on the SEC, Pac12, or B1G network..., but it's more likely those games might be on ESPN... Maybe Vandy, USC or something might have been a better example.

Yes. UConn at SCar is on ESPN - as are SCar’s games against Maryland and Stanford.

I live in Los Angeles and have SNY (as well as NESN, etc.) so i'm able to get pretty much all the UCONN games (plus Yankess and Red Sox and Mets content).

I'm curious to know who the tv provider is that offers SNY and NESN to customers who live in LA. I do know that at some point DirecTV did offer those two networks as part of their $9.99/month sports package but I didn't realize other tv providers offered the same package to customers outside of their normal service areas.

ATT Uverse. It's part of their sports package. I think ATT owns DirecTV (or they own Dish - it's one of those 2)...

I'm confused about what you are trying to explain. The SNY games are no longer posted on UCONNHUSKYGAMES site but some were posted to YouTube by the person that made them available to be posted to the UCONNHUSKYGAMES site (they also posted on the Boneyard after each game was uploaded). Nan did add this, about YouTube, to the rules post.
There were a couple YT channels that had the SNY games available but they seem to be disappearing.

Now for a big swerve: I have been watching last season's replays on YT for the past couple of weeks and one game that I have not found is the St. John’s at UConn. I believe it was a SNY broadcast because if it wasn't, odds are that the replay would be available on UCONNHUSKYGAMES.
Any tips would be appreciated.

As stated many times if you get Fox Sports, then you can watch all of the SNY televised games via the Fox Sports app. Do you have Fox Sports, then all you have to do is download it on to your TV, or what ever method you have to stream the game.

SNY's will not be available unless they waive their copyright's which they decided to enforce last year. That is why you don't see any of their covered games on the Boneyard.

Thanks to all posters. Now living in SC and was challenged finding all the UConn women's games. We have a number of small, regional internet providers here with exclusive contracts. Complex but very helpful feedback.

Because that’s the climate of the times we’re living in. I feel your pain. I want to see every UConn women’s game I can. That means I have to pony up some extra cheese to do so. I have DirecTV.

I buy the package that has all of the ESPN channels, and the other national sports channels like FS1 and CBSSN. That package costs me $194 a month. That does not include SNY. SNY is part of a regional sports package that’s available for an additional fee of $14 a month. I only buy the sports package during the regular season. On top of that, they also charge a “regional sports fee” if you have any ESPN channel in your package.

I remember when cable/satellite TV was reasonable. Those days are gone forever. There are some things I’m willing to cut back on, being able to watch all of UConn’s women’s games is not one of them. I also record every game in case I want to watch it again.

The losses I delete right away. I’ve never rewatched a loss. It was painful to watch the first time. Once is enough. I guess the time to really be concerned is when we can no longer afford those cable/satellite TV prices, and can no longer watch any of the games.

I believe that SNY is available on YTTV but only if you live in their viewing area. I think it is part of NBC's sports package.
YouTube and YouTube TV are entirely separate entities, btw.

They showed on the news yesterday that it was $7.29 a gallon for high octane, I believe it was in San Francisco. Here in Vegas the casino's are getting a little worried about it because almost 65% of the visitors are currently coming from California.

According to quantum theory, until you watch it it never actually happened; it remains, as it were, in limbo, like Schrodinger's cat. Since the best I can do down here is watch archived games, I never watch losses. Seems the least I can do.
