question about conference tournaments

I just noticed, for the first time (been watching cbb for 30 years), that certain conference tournaments don't have their teams play on consecutive days. An example is the the A-10, which doesn't resume their games, the quarterfinals, until Friday.

They get to rest???

The top 4 seeds got byes. The other 8 teams played the first round at on campus sites. So the 4 winners move to Atlantic City to join the other 4 Teams.

Temple is a good addition, Memphis too, will still be the deepest, most competitive conference far and away

The BE must do it on consecutive days because they have to get the games in around the Knicks' road trip I would assume.
