Question about Big East standings

Morning all. Quick question about Big East. Lets say, for example, Creighton wins the next game against UConn, so at end of season they are tied up at the top of the standings. What is the criteria to establish conference champion? I did find the mens tie break criteria, saying that it goes to winning percentage against common opponents basically. Does that ring true here?
