Quarterback situation

I know very little about football, but I've seen our starting QB go off injured and our backup take 3 or 4 big hits in his stead.

So what happens if Boyle goes out? I see we have several other QBs listed on the roster, including two freshmen (who I assume are being redshirted) and a JuCo transfer who is apparently now a tailback.

Would we turn to one of the kids and waste the redshirt? Is there one who has a higher ceiling/expectations than the other?

Move Anderson back to QB if that happens. We've never seen him throw but at least he can run.

Either Anderson or Davis need to be upgraded to backup. Boyle isn't going to do anything for the offense (at least that's my fear). At least the other two are more dynamic.

Well if he's red shirted, definitely give Anderson a shot then. This offense is going to do nothing but sputter for the next half.
