2014: ?

The past decade since Orlovsky we've had nothing but JUCO's (Lorenzon/Whitmer), transfers (Frazer), Walk-ons (McEntee), WR-turned-QB (Hernandez), TE-turned-QB (Lorenzon), and duds (fill-in-the-blank). Can someone please recruit a QB?!!!!!

At least when we were throwing Hernandez and Lorenzon out there we had a legitimate DEF and awesome run game (Donald Brown and Todman more specifically)....

Bones!! Miss that guy.

I feel like peeps talk about Brown and Todman a lot but don't give as much love to Dixon, TC and Brock who were all single season 1,000 yard rushers as well.

I'll rank them (minimum 5 significant appearances)

1. Cody Endres (Above average arm, nice accuracy, not mobile and sometime turnover prone but by far our best thrower)
2. Tyler Lorenzon (Game manager who could actually manage games, mobile, mediocre to poor arm)
3. Casey Cochran (most upside of those listed, hope to God he starts this year full-time...accurate, no mobility, mediocre arm strength)
4. Zack Frazer (Good arm strength, no mobility and limited accuracy. Good Fiesta Bowl performance wasted by incompetent receivers)
5. DJ Hernandez (I wish we had an option coach when he was here)
6. Johnny Mac (showed flashes but simply not a 1-A QB...probably good enough for a scholarship though so I'm glad he stuck it out)
7. Chander Whitmer (probably do not need to justify this)
8. Bones (Game manager that couldn't be trusted to hit curls and screens and had no mobility. Awful, awful QB)

I'm sorry man, I can't put Casey Cochran above anyone on this list based on potential.

YES ... you put Casey high based on true grit. He doesn't have the eyepopping attributes to be very high.

I second that.Frazer was frustrating and never came close to potential/expectations, but I have a bad feeling that his overall contribution to the program will exceed Casey's.
