QB Joe Fagnano headed to the East-West Shrine Bowl (1/27/26 Frisco, Texas)

No respect for players that sit out their teams bowl game because they may get hurt. Then accepting bowl games where they may get hurt thus basically saying the showcase games are a faux product.
I wish them no ill will but none of the respect I had for them in the past. This when representing the team 100%. And now simply themselves.

Bell now hurt in practice man. We talking about practice man. Not the game, we talking about practice man.

I could not understand his decision to play in this game. His focus should be on the combine. He could have played a month ago, then rested, and worked on his game.

Yep one can get hurt crossing the street. Those that chose sports take a chance every day. I hope those that gave me thumbs down above did not have tickets for the Fenway Bowl blowout. This buying tickets before our number one QB and receiver bowed out.
No animosity toward any UConn fan, just a different opinion.
Kudos out to Cam for standing up and playing for his team. I wish them all well down the road and hope they get to travel the right one. I was one definitely hoping Cam would stay on board here.
 
Only saw the end of the game. After Fagnano was sacked in the end zone and fumbled for a defensive touchdown I was cringing. Then he led a surgical drive down the field with a lot of it being on the ground but he also completed passes in critical situations. He may well have gotten himself drafted. Nice job.

Joe very much looked the part despite the idiot guard from Vandy who kept false starting and getting some highly questionable protection.

He called a play at the los which resulted in a long run. His passes where frozen ropes.

Joe is going to be a pro football quarterback.
 
anyone see highlights? searched a bunch on x and youtube and found nothing. i couldn't watch the game
 
also quick q:

- anyone know why didn't JF and Bell get invites to the senior bowl? I could see joe not making the cut, but Bell felt like a sure invite to the senior bowl.

Fagnano was listed as "Honorable Mention" by at least one sports writer. I hope this game and practices did for him what he expected when he skipped the bowl game.
