Earlier this week it was said that Shirreffs wasn't quarterbacking a football team, he was QB'ing UConn"s offense.

Amateur Freud's want to dig on to the greater meaning?
 
I don't think we've seen anything close yet (aside from a glimpse here or there) as to what the coaches consider "the" offense. I think the coaches, Diaco specifically, have taken a tiered approach. If you can fully do A, you can move to B. Once you've mastered B, you can move to C, etc.

It sounds like we have completed "stage B" and will be moving to "stage C"

Things I see continuing - multiple TE sets, possibly sets with 2 TE's and one F. Run first philosophy.

Things I expect to see more of - more base shotgun sets and much more play action passing.
