Put on Butler/Marquette if you are watching something else

That is a terrible technical foul call. The refs are rewarding an acting job by PC.

Edit: PC fumbles it out of bounds. Ball don't lie.

PC passes to screener on PnR and he gets a dunk. Who would've thunk.

We were in a mid-major conference 5 minutes ago and some act like we should be embarrassed losing to top 25 Big East teams on the road. We didn't immediately pick up where we left off as the lifetakers and heartbreakers we used to be in this conference. Sure, that would have been nice but man this fanbase needs to cowboy up a bit.
Not everybody's expectations are on the same line
Not pointing at you- some people on the BY need to realize this and if you don't share like views - so be it
BTW - the mid-major conference was not a good place for UConn but UConn never dominated or even came close.
Losing to "top 25" teams (if you can believe rankings) that UConn should beat when playing mediocre is never an acceptable result - that's my take
Thanks

PC plays like a European soccer team with the drama every time they are bumped.

I don't know if Depaul can score enough to hold the lead. PC plays tough defense.

Depaul still up 3 with a little over 4. Can they win this one? It would be huge.

.-.
Cooley has really turned on his whining technique tonight
Ridiculous - every possession he sees something that I don't and apparently the refs don't either

Korchler's foot out-of-bounds is another reason why I don't like players setting up on offense in the corners.

Depaul had to run their offense. They have been burning way too much shot clock against a team as good defensively as PC. You get down to 10 seconds left against PC, it will feel like there are 6 defenders.

Depaul is falling apart. Providence is lucky for sure. I hope Villanova spanks them on Tuesday.

Ya, Depaul was trying not to lose with way too much time left.

PC may be in 1st place but they are a beatable team
Take away their guard play and they will wilt

These PC fans at the Dunk act like they’re UNC playing Duke. Should we tell them they’re actually just playing DePaul?

Wow going to OT. Depaul with a big basket when it looked like they would turn it over.

For a team that played very smart basketball for 39 minutes and 57 seconds, Providence just finished regulation with an idiotic hero-ball play.

In my opinion if you think we should beat other top 25 teams in this conference on the road even when we play mediocre then you have an over inflated opnion about how good we really are this year. We have one viable guard and lack consistent shooting. We are very competitive for sure but we are gonna lose our share too. We have to play pretty well, not mediocre to beat the Xaviers of the world on the road. That's not a mortal sin. The conference is damn competitive with a lot of parity.

.-.
Depaul can't score in the second half. Why do people always go for a huge dunk when you can just put it away strong? Depaul playing like Depaul in OT.

Durham's layup was ridiculous. Pulled it right out of his butt, but it probably put the game away.

Good lord the horrible takes by the usual suspects in this thread. If you visited the yard for the first time, you’d think they were just trolling… But these knuckleheads are serious with this nonsense!

Depaul with a chance to tie the game and put it into a double OT. That is all they could ask after not playing well in OT. This game won't end lol!

I would have missed the second free throw there and tried to get the rebound. 6 seconds is not enough time to foul PC, have them hit 2, and then get down court for a desperation 3.

not my point at all - that's ok
Regardless of rankings, if UConn gives a mediocre effort and loses, it is disappointing. Period. I know these games will occur but it is disappointing. Providence played mediocre at best tonight and wins

BTW - I did say not pointing at you ;)

.-.
Nice heave by Depaul from half court as it hit the front of the rim. Come on Villanova and spank these pretenders.

advanced stats, despite all of the winning, doesn't favor PC. Makes you wonder if the streak will continue in first-round matchups in the tournament. That would be unfortunate.

I hear ya and I know you said not pointing at me. Just conversing. Btw, we probably played worse than mediocre at DePaul and won.

If we’re destined for the 4/5 game (which seems probable) in the BET, rather PC hold onto that top spot. I like our chances against them more than Nova.

Although selfishly I’d prefer us get the 3 no matter who’s the 2, so that we play in the evening QF session, and I can actually go to the game after work haha

Providence luck factor is going to be off the charts.

I would not have them as a favorite to get to the second weekend, even as a #2 seed.
No one would have predicted UConn in 2011 or 2014 either. Sometimes you're just in a groove and everything falls your way
