Under NCAA rules, Purvis will have to sit out next season. The Huskie are moving to the newly minted American Athletic Conference. Purvis will have a chance to play in his home state when East Carolina joins the league in 2014.

Plus it's the style of offense Gott runs, which doesn't complement Purvis' skillset.....the way UConn plays-with a primary athletic guard running the show(from Gordon to Marcus Williams to AJ Price to Dyson to Kemba to Bazz&Boat) Purvis will fit right in. He knows this, and that's one of his main reasons for coming, in my opinion

Glad to have Purvis on board. Looks like a great athlete and scorer. Can really get to hoop and finish, which I love. Is he coming as a point or combo guard. Heard he is coming as a point. Did not see on this particular tape any point guard skills displayed. Not being critical just wondering if anyone knows .

he is going to be at UConn for the start of summer classes! Landing him now is going to help our recruiting for 2014! Kid is a stud! On his twitter he pretty much indirectly said UConn was his choice but he ended up going to NC State because of what others said. He is going to blossom under KO.
