I suspect NC State takes a loss today. Nothing official has been said but I suspect River Baldwin will miss today's game...and without her, we have noone to battle Liz Kitley. Mimi Collins and Mallory Collier will likely tag-team defending her. Best case...State lets Kitley get her points and we try to shut down the usually-hot perimeter shooting from Amoore, King and Ekh.

In any event...I say NC State will be the next of the undefeateds to fall.

Does any team this year have 3 more difficult road games in a row than UCLA? At USC, Utah and Colorado — that's 3 very tough games in 9 days. If they go 2-1 that'll be a good result for them.

Baylor has caught some scheduling breaks and could conceivably run the table (though I doubt they will). Their toughest game on paper was the road game at Texas, but Harmon got hurt just 3 days before it. They don't have to play at Kansas State or TCU, so their toughest 4 games figure to be home vs. Texas, home vs. KSU, and home and away vs. West Virginia. It'd take a huge upset for anyone else in the Big 12 to beat Baylor.

Chicago State will be heavily favorited to beat Kuyper College, an NCCAA program in its first year since being reinstated (Kuyper's athletics department was previously eliminated in 2015). Long Island is a very weak D1 team and so CSU can maybe beat them as well.

I sure didn't think Baylor would lose before UCLA. Not because Baylor is better, but look at the difficulty disparity between USC-Col-Utah and Kan-IaSt-UCF.

Texas Southern got its first D1 win on Monday over Grambling.
Chicago State, after beating an NCCAA team (Kuyper) yesterday, will go for its first D1 win over Long Island next Monday.

Yeah, regular season. I looked it up, UT currently has the record at 36, we would tie it if we win the next two. Would need to win @ LSU to break it. Interesting facts I found while looking it up, had SC not lost that OT game at Mizzou, they would be on a streak of something like 65 straight regular season conference wins I think. Prior to that they had a 31 game streak broken at UT. It’s been a dominant stretch to be sure, hard to fathom actually.
