The below screen shot was in response to a comment on the College hoops on Fox Facebook page where they posted about Purdue being number 1. Someone said Sanogo would eat Edey for lunch and this guy responded with the below. This shows how uneducated the Purdue fans are.

He might benefit from seeing that UConn has 7 players averaging more than 20 minutes per game & nobody over 3; two more at 16.3 & 19.7; and some tall freshman who's at 14.9.

Purdue has Edey over 31 minutes per game; 3 more log 25+; 3 between 15-19; and 2 at 14+.

This place is going to be the absolute worst from Wednesday till the 28th when we play Nova
Especially with your attitude, sir. Jeez.

Still looking forward to having our full roster back (with SJ) to see if we can improve on our results and create a better bench. LOL

“Is going to be!” “Is going to be!”

This forum has been crazy since it’s inception!

But in all it’s years it has never been more bipolar than it has since the start of this year’s transfer portal announcements. It has risen to the level of bat shyste crazy!

The entertainment level here is priceless!

If a guy 7'4" who plays all game, can't get double digits in points and rebounds, I'd be shocked. UConn's strength that no other team has is our ability to adjust to whatever style an opponent throws at us. That's greatly underestimated. We don't have a single approach that we ride or die with.

I for one certainly hope that Edey doesn’t get tired from shouldering the entirety of Purdue’s season expectations during the year and gets exhausted by March, that would be terrible.

God, I hope we face purdue and that big goon Edey in March. It’s so funny - little by little you ll see the whole country jumping on how good UConn is. Kinda cool knowing something before everyone else does. Wait till football ends in February and college hoops takes the spotlight. UConn will be getting great publicity- right now, too much going on in the sports world, - it’s coming. Lol

Interesting Purdue stat:

Purdue is currently the fifth-youngest team among power-conference teams in America in terms of D-I experience (1.36) according to KenPom.com. The Purdue freshman class is averaging 28.4 points per game (36.9 percent of scoring).
