Purdue’s defense

Edey parks halfway between the arc and free throw line and guards no one unless you come near him
And he gives up a bunch of layups, he stinks on D. I don't see him getting away with it in the NBA.

I can’t wait until they have wearables that show analytics like number of steps per game for each player (or distance run, average speed, etc). Clingan played a lot less minutes than Edey, but he probably ran 3X the distance of what Edey ran. He is basically a non factor on defense unless tha ball gets to within 5 feet of the hoop and even then half the time he’s too slow to react to a drive from a guard. Dude is a giant though

Purdue only had a day officially, but if you're in that position and you weren't scouting UConn the entire season preparing for a tournament matchup it's total malpractice.

Would you rather have nightmares for one night or all season?
