I'll be honest, when they lost 5 in a row, I saw Mo(the S/C coach) leave to go down XL hallway, and I yelled at her "you gotta toughen these guys up, Morreen!!!"

I know she heard me.

Well it shows.

Coach Cavanaugh is on a bit of a roll between the recent wins and the highly regarded recruiting class he is now putting together. Perhaps some of the naysayers that popped onto these boards in the past will now be willing to let him keep the job.
He probably reads this message board.

This needs WAY more likes.

For a guy that worked for BC, what 18 seasons?

That's huge. Well said cav!

You're getting there. Keep it going!
Absolutely! He did not even hesitate to make the response. It is such a perfect and natural response. Common sense. If he coaches with this attitude, there is no doubt he will achieve UConn excellence.

How “UConn” would it be for this team to somehow finish 5th, and not get a home playoff game.

Some thoughts about the game -

Crazy beginning, I think 8 or 9 minutes we only had 2 shots and they were both on breakaways/semi-breakaways.

Love Karashik's game. For a freshman, this kid does it all. Might have been a PP for BC last night where he went down to block two straight shots. Then a third shot went rifled by him and in the net. But completely gives up his body right there. Connecticut kid, looks like a keeper.

Whenever Huska comes back he's got to sit until Creel cools off. Creel is playing great and is fun as hell to watch.

Any win over BCU in anything is a good thing.

Is there any word on if/when Huska is returning?

I doubt it.

Broken wrist.

Ranger handlers probably wouldn't want him to play anyway.

My guess, he's done in a husky uniform

Oh, and the officials were awful last night. Any time a player - especially a BC player went to the ice, the refs arm went up. I swear BC was doing dives at times that would have made Duke proud.

That wasn't just a rumor?

I don't know for 100%

But if was just a sprain, we wouldn't keep seeing (no time table)

I could be wrong, but I would rather see creel the rest of the way

I think they give him another year at UConn..Lundqvist has a full no move/no trade and he isn’t going any where from his quotes in NY Post this am..he has 3 yrs left on his contract so that gives Huska another yr at UConn then 2 in Hartford or where ever the Wolfpack end up
