I know many of you like myself always pull for the BE. Currently the BE is 7-3. The BE currently have earned 16 NCAA units with each unit = to about 1.5M (250k for each unit paid over 6 years. Last year the BE earned 22 units or 5.3m which will be paid each of the next 6 years with first payment this April. Last year the BE received 24.6m the most any conference has ever received. No other conference received even 19m. Note BCS BE payment was 22+m. So the conference receives more money from the NCAA (however more teams have to divide this revenue)
WV,Cuse and Pitt. Will forfeit their shares when they leave the conference and new schools will be phased in over a 3-4 year period. In the ACC BC received zero the first two years, 50% the third year and 100% the 4th year.
So even though Uconn has been eliminated they do benefit from the other BE teams winning. Max. of 5 units can be earned by any team. One unit for every game played.
