UConn alum one of the stars....he is keeping good company these days:

"Stowell, who co-starred in Whiplash and is upcoming in two Steven Spielberg projects — the TNT drama Public Morals from Edward Burns and a role in Spielberg’s own Bridge Of Spies opposite Tom Hanks — is set as LT. Hank Monroe, a heroic, hardened American Navy SEAL who teams with Stratton to combat an international terrorist."

I met Austin, his brother & crew pre-gaming in 2014 at Boomer Jacks in Dallas. Our small group, fortified with a few fireballs, made the KY & FL fans scarce. Probably a few minutes before this picture was taken. I stole this from Twitter where he is calling out Ashley Judd.

I had no idea that he is a UCONN man. I live very close to where he grew up.

He was in Whiplash as one of the other two drummers. Good job.

Happy for him and LOVE the UCONN connection.

Handsome guy who might become a real star.

Spielberg endorsement is HUGE.
