I think PC winning close games has given them a calm confidence when other teams tighten up. They are clearly "not as good as their record" but that doesn't matter, especially in the tournament. So much of it is about match-ups and momentum. Would you bet against them in a close game? That said, the NCAA Tournament is a different animal, and we may see PC tighten up also.
