Pros and Cons

Pros : DLine, stuffing the run, good tackling, solid special teams, a couple of picks.Newsome. Not quitting when BYU went up 20-10.

Cons : Adams.... Speechless. Playing too far off receivers. Draw plays on 1st/2nd and long. Missing open TEs. Terrible OL play - so many missed assignments. Shirreffs constantly under pressure which forces errors. Play clock constantly running down.

Not sure what else to add. Coulda/woulda/shoulda. We should be 3-2 or 4-1 but we can't get out of our own way.

I agree. My biggest takeaway was, given the O lines deficiencies, the only way to help this O is to flank BS with both Newsome and Max and rely on quick short passes as the overriding element. Plus, we need to get the play calls in sooner. BS doesn't have enough time to survey the D----and time outs are precious.
