Enjoy him while he's here.. Another productive summer of focused skill development and positive NBA feedback through camps/scouts.. Predict he will be advised to move on after next year.. Make the shot serviceable.. And he's good to go..
Let's keep our eyes on the prize this year.. A lot of BB left to play.
And that's the key word, serviceable. He doesn't need to shoot like Jordan Hawkins. As long as he shoots it well enough to keep the defense honest at the next level whether it's NBA or high level league in Europe, it will only widen the passing lanes for his great passing and great court vision. We all know his rebounding is great and his defense is very good, too, well when he is focused and dialed in it's very good.
For this season, if he continues taking the ball to the basket at select times, even if his outside shot doesn't improve all that much, it's going to do wonders for UConn, in fact we are all seeing it now. As long he picks his spots to drive to the basket
to score and shoot the 3 he will continue to be effective.
