Aside from the defensive push and the Nike logo, name one thing in this picture that screams big time college football.
Well, certainly not the helmets.
It's going to be long two, weeks if were going to have to read things like this every day.
i couldn't care less if the pants had stripes, shirt was checkered & the helmet was made of velvet. just win some god damn games.......
Watching on TV, I agree the helmets are bad. You can't see what the heck the eyes are supposed to be. If you're a casual fan, you're like, why are there two ripped blue socks on the helmet? BAD stuff.
The logo kind of looks like the graphic in my textbook of a uterus. Freud would have had a great time with whoever designed the logo.

besides the constant debate by the fans about whether Uconn belongs amongst the Power 5 conferences?

Yeah, well apparently the subliminal message is "we're screwed" because I've been thinking that every since Thursday's game. Thanks a lot for spilling the beans.
It was supposed to be a subliminal message, designed to attract the attention of HS aged boys (to use as a recruiting advantage) while also, during games distract our opponents, giving us a tactical advantage.
Now the cat is out of the bag......

I have to say I didn't mind the helmets during the game. Game play, well that was a different story.
TCU's helmets gave us a run for the money.
